Full-Time Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Clinical Psychology Focusing on Psychotherapy and Psychological Assessment

The Psychology Training Program of Massachusetts General Hospital invites applications for two full-time, one year, Post-Doctoral Fellowship positions.  These positions are in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis on individual psychotherapy and assessment psychology. Applicants who graduated with a PhD or PsyD from an APA-accredited program are eligible to apply for this position that begins on July 1 st, 2008.  Both positions will provide psychotherapy services to a diverse population of patients and conditions within a large academic outpatient practice while also providing a wide range of psychological assessment services. The fellows may also assist staff psychologists with forensic, neuropsychological and psycho-educational assessments.  Research opportunities with authorship are available in the areas of test development, scale validation, evaluation of therapeutic assessment and psychotherapy outcome.  Applicants should send a letter of interest, transcript, curriculum vitae, three letters of reference, one intake evaluation and one assessment report to Mark A. POSITION: Clinical Psychologist in the District of Columbia

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: Functions in a forensic environment to administer a series of standard psychological and educational tests to determine intellectual, educational and personality functioning, to screen for signs of neuropsychological impairment and to diagnose, using the current edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM), for a population ranging in age from eight to eighteen and adults serving in a care-taking capacity for pre and post adjudicated youth. Uses computer technology for scoring test instruments and production of final report product. Analyzes, interprets, synthesizes and integrates test results into clinically sound, cohesive, practical and functional written evaluations appropriate to a forensic domain. Develops clinical expert testimony for Court officials in matters related to evaluations and clinical procedures and findings. Serves as a clinical supervisor for graduate and post-doctoral level psychology trainees and interns including, but not limited to, psychological evaluations, individual, group and family psychotherapy, case consultation and case conference. Participates in case conferences and consultation with Court officials such as judges, probation officers, social workers, case managers or affiliates with regard to psychological issues related to adjudication and/or disposition. Performs other clinic or division duties such as research projects, as assigned by the Chief Psychologist.

The Institute for Graduate Clinical Psychology at Widener University is seeking applications for a 10-month, tenure-track assistant professor position in Clinical Psychology, starting in the Fall of 2008. Duties of this position include: administration of our Psy.D./Business joint degree programs, graduate-level instruction and supervision of trainees in clinical settings, and pursuit of a scholarly agenda. The most desirable specialty area is organizational psychology, with a focus on emotional competence and leadership. Other desirable areas of expertise include research methods, child and adolescent psychotherapy, and forensic psychology. A Ph.D. in clinical psychology or a Psy.D. and relevant clinical experience is required. The individual should be licensed or license-eligible in Pennsylvania. Alliant International University through the California School of Professional Psyghology and the Institute for Behavioral Assessment invites applications for a full-time, one year, Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the San Diego campus.  This position is in psychological assessment and includes research, clinical practice, and teaching.  Applicants who graduate by June 15, 2007 with a PhD or PsyD from an APA-accredited program are eligible to apply for this position which begins on August 20 th, 2007.  Research involves coordinating an assessment lab focused on Rorschach validation and test development, malingering, and other assessment projects.  These efforts should result in secondary authorship for one or more publications.  Assessment practice includes a variety of clients and goals, among them providing, coordinating, and assisting with forensic, individual clinical, marital, and psychoeducational assessments.  This individual will participate in our attempt to expand these services as our clinic moves to a new location.  In both research and practice, this person will be responsible for supervising and coordinating graduate students and also undergraduate student assistants.  As far as instruction, this individual will provide graduate instruction in personality assessment.  In all these roles, this individual will be supervised and mentored by Donald Viglione, Jr.  Applicants should send a letter or interest, transcript, curriculum vitae, two letters of reference, and two examples of assessment reports to Donald Viglione, Director, Clinical Psychology Ph.D. Program, CSPP AIU, 201 Daley Hall, 10455 Pomerado Road, San Diego, CA 92131  OR dviglione@alliant.edu.  Please email if you have any questions.  Applicants should have strong assessment, research, SPSS, computer, and writing skills, and be able to work well with others.  Applications will be reviewed until the position is filled.
