The Society for Personality Assessment is dedicated to the development of methods of personality assessment, the advancement of research on their effectiveness, the exchange of ideas about the theory and practice of assessment, and the promotion of the applied practice of personality assessment.

SPA Foundation
SPA Foundation
The Society for Personality Assessment Foundation has been designated as a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. Therefore, donations can be deducted as a charitable contribution on tax returns.
SPAGS
SPAGS
Students who are accepted as members in good standing of the SPA are members of SPAGS. Students applying for membership are understood to be enrolled in a regionally accredited graduate psychology program or a similar program from a previously agreed upon related field.

2009 SPA Late Fall Workshop
Psychological assessment is typically viewed as something one does to diagnosis psychological disorders or to plan for or evaluate an intervention. This workshop presents a new paradigm for the psychological assessor, where psychological testing itself is a powerful intervention for individuals, couples, and children and adolescents.

Membership - Dues Structure

Member/Fellow/Associate - $120.00
Student Affiliate - $32.00
New Doctoral Graduate - $60.00
Second-Year Doctoral Graduate - $85.00

Dues are payable by December 31 each year for the upcoming year. A late fee of $30 applies after that date. If dues are not received by January 31, a member’s status will be changed to “inactive.” In order to reactivate membership, a fee of $30 will apply. Inactive members will not receive Journals or mailings from SPA until membership is reactivated. Backorder Journals will be available online. Hard copies of backorder Journals will be available for $15 per issue.
