The Society for Personality Assessment is dedicated to the development of methods of personality assessment, the advancement of research on their effectiveness, the exchange of ideas about the theory and practice of assessment, and the promotion of the applied practice of personality assessment.

SPA Foundation
SPA Foundation
The Society for Personality Assessment Foundation has been designated as a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. Therefore, donations can be deducted as a charitable contribution on tax returns.
SPAGS
SPAGS
Students who are accepted as members in good standing of the SPA are members of SPAGS. Students applying for membership are understood to be enrolled in a regionally accredited graduate psychology program or a similar program from a previously agreed upon related field.

2009 SPA Late Fall Workshop
Psychological assessment is typically viewed as something one does to diagnosis psychological disorders or to plan for or evaluate an intervention. This workshop presents a new paradigm for the psychological assessor, where psychological testing itself is a powerful intervention for individuals, couples, and children and adolescents.

About Us - Mailing Lists

SPA does accept requests for one-time rental of the membership mailing list ($.25 per name). Contact Paula J. Garber, Administrative Director, at manager@spaonline.org for further information. When asking for a mailing list, please include a copy of the product/publication that will be mailed to the SPA membership. Requests for mailing lists can usually be processed within 48 hours of initial contact with SPA.
