The Mary S. Cerney Student Award is  awarded to the best personality assessment research paper by a student. This awards carries a small stipend to help defray the cost of attending the Annual Meeting. Click here to download information on applying. See past recipients of the  MARY S. CERNEY AWARD. The MARY S. CERNEY AWARD is awarded to the best personality assessment research paper submitted by a student. This award carries a stipend to defray the cost of attending the Annual meeting.

The Society for Personality Assessment (SPA) will be making awards up to $500.00 to support dissertation research in the area of personality assessment. The student's dissertation must have been approved by her/his committee before applying for the award; the student must be a Student Affiliate of SPA, or may apply for Student Affiliate at the time of the Dissertation Award application; and the proposal must be sponsored by a member of SPA. It is expected that the student will present the results of the dissertation at a forthcoming Annual Meeting of SPA. Applicants may also expect to receive committee review feedback on their proposal.
