Professional Bio
Hannah Asis is a graduate student in the Clinical Science and Psychopathology Research Ph.D. program at the University of Minnesota. Her academic journey includes a B.S. in Public Health from the University of North Texas and a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley.
Before starting her Ph.D., she contributed as a Research Assistant at the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence and served as an Activities Director at assisted living facilities. These roles have enriched her understanding and approach to mental and public health.
Her research interests lie at the intersection of personality and psychopathology. Hannah is deeply invested in exploring how individual differences shape mental and physical health trajectories. This interest extends to her commitment to supporting the Hierarchical Taxonomy of Psychopathology and investigating mental illness conceptualizations, five-factor model interactions, and the public dissemination of personality and clinical science.
