Professional Bio

Hannah Holmes is a licensed psychologist with specialization in health psychology and particular clinical and research interests in women's health and chronic pain. She received her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI and completed her predoctoral internship training at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. She is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor at Appalachian State University in Boone, NC, where she teaches Personality Assessment to graduate students in the PsyD program. She also supervises doctoral students in evidence-based assessment and intervention at the AppState Psychology Clinic, where she serves as Assistant Director. In addition to her work at AppState, Hannah has a small part-time private practice.
