My name is Alicia W. Villanueva van den Hurk, and I am an international student from Spain. I was born and raised in Mallorca, but I have been studying in the United States for almost 8 years. I graduated from Layton High School, Utah, in 2018, and I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Bowling Green State University, Ohio, in 2021. In 2023, I received my Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Dayton, Ohio. Currently, I am a first year Clinical Psychology PhD Student at the University of Detroit Mercy, Michigan. Overall, my main research mainly focuses on psychosis assessment. Furthermore, I am interested in how social factors (e.g., social stigma) affect psychotic disorders.
