Professional Bio

Ashlinn is a senior undergraduate at Texas Tech University working with Dr. Paul Ingram in the Personality Assessment and Treatment Seeking Lab. She received her Associate's in Science and has been accepted into Texas Tech’s Human Development and Family Sciences (HDFS) Master’s program. Under the guidance of Paul Ingram, Ashlinn’s research focuses on the clinical assessment of psychopathology and personality utilizing the MMPI, specifically scale validation and classification. Ashlinn is passionate about many domains, mainly eating disorder assessment, adolescent research, and social media use as it pertains to being a potential risk or protective factor. Additionally, Ashlinn researches social influence on brain and socioemotional development in adolescents and families in the SIBS Lab at Texas Tech University under Dr. Christy Rogers. Ashlinn hopes to pursue a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology focusing on social media use in adolescence and eating disorder assessment and treatment utilizing mixed methodologies in her research.
