Professional Bio
I am a first-year doctoral student in the Clinical Psychology program at Sam Houston State University. I was born and raised in Colombia and moved to the United States in 2011. I graduated from Baylor University in 2020 with a B.S. in neuroscience and a minor in forensic sciences. Post-graduation I worked at The Menninger Clinic for 2 years as a clinical research assistant. I am interested in the conceptualization and assessment of personality psychopathology, the role of pathological personality and other severe and persistent mental illness in forensic assessments, and the associations between personality dysfunction and criminal behavior.
