Professional Bio

Kirstie is currently finishing the final year of her PsyD in Clinical Psychology at Immaculata University. She is completing her predoctoral internship at Rochester Institute of Technology’s Priority Behavioral Health Clinic, where she provides both therapy and assessment services. Kirstie’s clinical and research interests include volitional personality change, Therapeutic Assessment, use of technology to improve access to mental health services for rural populations, and components of health psychology and integrative care including the treatment of chronic pain. Following graduation, Kirstie plans to begin working for a private practice in a rural area providing therapy and assessment services. Kirstie’s goal as she transitions to an Early Career Psychologist is to begin completing trainings in Therapeutic Assessment and to ultimately become certified in this specialty.
