Virtual Town Hall: The Future of Our Name

Join us to continue the conversation that began at the March town hall in Toronto. The Board is considering a name that keeps “Personality” first while reflecting the broader scope that members adopted in our 2021 Bylaws that defines our purpose as advancing “personality assessment, and psychological assessment generally” (Article I, Section 1.02). The proposed new name is the Society for Personality and Psychological Assessment.

No decision has been made. Before the Board decides whether to bring a bylaws amendment to a member vote, we want to hear your reactions. We’ll share an update on member feedback, walk through background materials, and hear brief comments from the Board. Most of our time will be open for your questions and thoughts.

The session will be recorded and shared with members afterward, along with a short survey and a webpage with more information.
