Complementary and Incremental Contributions of the Rorschach (R-PAS) and Wartegg (CWS) (1.5 CEs)

Abstract

This presentation will examine the incremental validity and unique contributions of the Rorschach Performance Assessment System (R-PAS) and the Wartegg Drawing Completion Test (WDCT) in the case of a self-referred teen experiencing attachment distress and dysregulated behavior. Through the use of a case example, each test will be briefly reviewed for its individual interpretive contributions. The presenters will model integrating findings from the R-PAS and the WDCT, highlighting where there is overlap between the measures to reinforce significant findings as well as where each measure provides incremental data.

Goals & Objectives
  1. By the end of this seminar, participants will be able to: 1) Discuss potential contributions of the Crisi Wartegg System and Rorschach-Performance Assessment System to clinical assessment.
  2. 2)Describe similarities (including convergent validity) between data obtained from the CWS and R-PAS.
  3. 3) Discuss potential areas of incremental validity and additional information obtained from the CWS and R-PAS.
  4. 4) List benefits of using multi-test assessment (i.e., R-PAS plus CWS) in clinical assessment.
