Abstract
Personality assessment enhances our understanding of clients beyond any other modality of intervention and makes real impact on the care that we provide. Providing training on personality assessment in applied clinical settings is an integral step in demystifying what we do and inspiring trainees to see the potential of what it offers. Scott Schwartz, Ph. D., of UNC-CH Department of Psychiatry Child and Adolescent Outpatient Program and Will Guy, Ph. D., of Clarity Guidance Center in Texas will lead a facilitated discussion on the challenges of providing training on personality assessment in applied clinical settings as well as present techniques and strategies that they have developed. Participants will be invited to share their experiences and ideas.
