Corine De Ruiter

I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist- Specialist in the Netherlands and a Professor of Forensic Psychology at Maastricht University. The past 25 years, I have specialized in forensic psychological assessment, both in my research and my practice. I have conducted studies on psychopathy assessment, violence risk assessment and domestic violence risk assessment (including child abuse). I am one of the co-developers of the Structured Assessment of Protective Factors against violence risk (SAPROF). I serve SPA as co-chair of the Forensic Interest Group (since 2022) and as Associate Editor of the Journal of Personality Assessment (since 2018).
