Education and Training Interest Group Social Hour - June 17th

SPA’s Education and Training Interest Group is hosting a virtual social hour

Join Us - between 6pm and 8pm (EST) on Monday, June 17^th.

The Education and Training Interest Group is excited to announce that we will hold our next virtual meeting on Monday June 17^th at 6:00pm EST.   We hope to see many familiar faces and lots of new faces, as the meeting is open to all who are interested.   The objectives of the meeting will be a follow up to our meeting at the conference in San Diego and include:

1. Formalizing a structure and format to support projects between conferences.
2. Receive update from Dr. Hedlund and Dr. Baum on virtual teaser webinar and connected program/panel for next year’s conference focused on alternative pathways and careers in psychological assessment to draw greater student interest in the field as well as SPA.
3. Review project ideas that were identified at last meeting and individuals who are interested in taking an active role on these projects.  As a reminder, some ideas that were discussed included:
1. Updated sample syllabi and resources for teachers on a range of related personality assessment topics for both undergraduate and graduate teaching.
2. Living repository of new articles and reviews (ie a personality assessment focused Clinician’s Reader’s Digest)
4. Identify members interested in being considered as future co-chair of interest group.
