Abbie Allen

Abbie is a second-year student in the Clinical Psychology doctoral program at the University of Detroit Mercy. She earned her B.A. in psychology with Highest Honors, along with a minor in philosophy, from the University of Michigan in 2024. Abbie is particularly interested in researching personality functioning, object relations, and risk and protective factors of suicidality. Clinically, she enjoys working with child and adolescent populations with externalizing symptoms and complex emotional or behavioral needs. She is excited to attend SPA for the first time and looks forward to contributing to research at the intersection of personality assessment and clinical practice.
