Professional Bio
Kimberly (Kimmie) Gilbert is a Clinical Psychology Ph.D. student at the University of Michigan. She studies why people experiencing personality pathology feel, think, and relate the way they do, and how those patterns shift across moments, relationships, and contexts. Her work draws on dimensional models of psychopathology, contemporary interpersonal and psychodynamic theory, and intensive longitudinal methods, with the goal of connecting rigorous measurement to clinically meaningful questions about impairment, change, and recovery.
