Abstract

This roundtable discussion will focus on the importance of self-advocacy for practicum students and interns seeking quality training in psychological assessment, particularly in systems where personality assessments may not be standard practice. Participants will explore strategies for advocating for the implementation of personality assessments and share student perspectives on what makes assessment training effective. The session aims to provide insights to supervisors and training directors, offering a student-centric view on improving the overall assessment training experience. This roundtable is designed for students, interns, practicum supervisors, training directors, and professionals interested in improving the assessment training experience.
