Abstract
Artificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming psychological assessment, offering new opportunities to enhance efficiency, consistency, and accessibility in report writing. However, as AI tools become more integrated into clinical practice, psychologists must critically evaluate their ethical implications. This presentation will explore the evolving role of AI in psychological assessment, with a focus on confidentiality, data security, accuracy, bias, and professional accountability. Attendees will gain insights into the strengths and limitations of AI-generated reports, strategies for maintaining clinical judgment, and best practices for mitigating bias in AI-assisted narratives. Additionally, we will examine emerging trends in assessment report presentation, including interactive and client-friendly formats, and discuss the ethical balance between accessibility and clinical rigor. Through real-world case studies and interactive discussion, participants will leave equipped to navigate the opportunities and challenges of AI in psychological assessment, ensuring ethical and responsible adoption in their own practices.
