Use of the R-PAS in Forensic Assessments in Murder case (1.5 CEs)

Abstract

Drs. Madeleine Starin, Kenedy Ramos, and Abraham Loebenstein will each present a forensic case involving murder where the Rorschach was used in compliance with R-PAS. We will focus on what the Rorschach contributed in our assessments and, if applicable, how the Rorschach with R-PAS ended up being challenged in court. Each case involves murder. Dr. Starin will discuss a case involving possible transfer from juvenile to adult court. Dr. Ramos will discuss a Franklin Hearing case involving a youthful offender and potential future eligibility for parole. Dr. Loebenstein will discuss a mitigating evaluation involving an egregious murder that was challenged in court.
