Workshop Proposals

We are seeking engaging and insightful workshops to enrich the attendee experience for the 2024 SPA Convention in San Diego, CA. We encourage you to submit your proposal to share your expertise and contribute to the learning and growth of our SPA community. We welcome proposals that are diverse in perspectives, responsive to emerging trends and the evolving challenges of psychologists and clinicians utilizing and researching assessment.

Become a Program Reviewer 

We need your content expertise to review proposals that will be associated with our 2024 SPA Convention. This review process helps ensure the quality of our programming. Attendance at the convention is NOT required to volunteer as a reviewer.

Please review the following timeline to ensure you will have the capacity to serve in this role prior to submitting the form.

  • September 25: Deadline for Application
  • October 9: Programs Assigned to Reviewers Selected
  • October 25: Deadline for Program Reviews to be Submitted

Call for Programs & Papers 

This is your chance to present your research and innovative approaches in psychological and personality assessment. Share your insights with our diverse community by submitting your proposals for programs and papers. There are no strict guidelines or requirements - we welcome fresh perspectives and creative formats!

*If you need help identifying an expert in the field to talk about the important implications of your symposium for the next generation of psychologists and the future of assessment, the Education & Training Interest Group has several leading personality assessment experts who would love to serve as a discussant for your symposium. Please email the co-chairs, Dr. Scott L. Schwartz and Dr. Adam P. Natoli to be connected with an expert in the field willing to be a discussant for your symposium.
